OnePlus successfuly launches their incremental update for their OnePus 9R device. The 9RT brings some key updates to the previous 9R one of which is that the Chinese phonemaker manages to pack in a much more powerful Snapdragon 888 chipset, a generation above the Snapdragon 870 found on the 9R.
Aside from the much improved performance from the new chipset, the display gets an update as well with an addition of 600Hz touch sampling rate and a larger diagonal at 6.62 inches. The handset bears a punchhole selfie camera at the top left of the display which is a 16MP snapper.
As for the rear camera system, a new Sony IMX 766 50Mp shooter will be the main camera followed by a 16MP shooter and an extra 2MP sensor completing the triple rear camera setup.
The device will retain the same bnattery and charging technology from the 9R packing in a 4500mAh and 65W fast charging.
The device can be bought in white and black variants which start at 3199CNY or PHP 25K for the base 8/128Gb variant and top out at 12/256GB at 3699CNY or PHP 29K. Prices stated are not inclusive of taxes and duties.
As for the other features, the 9RT will be running Android 11 on ColorOS 12, stereo speakers, up to 7GB virtual RAM, X-axis linear motor.
