MediaTek DImensity has been on a roll on a couple of device already in giving 5G for lower prices . Now, the Taiwanese chipmaker outs two new processors under the Dimensity 800 and 900 series.

The MediaTek Dimensity 810 is a 6nm octacore processor with four ARM Cortex-A76 and A55 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and 2GHz respectively. It supports LPDDR4X memory, up to 64MP main camera, 1080p displays that refreshes of up to 120Hz and 5G 2CC carrier aggregation, dual standby and NR. For graphics performance, the Mali-G57 with two shader cores is built within.

Meanwhile, the more powerful Dimensity 920 is also a 6nm octacore processor with this time featuring two ARM Cortex A78 and six ARM Cortex A55 running at 2.4GHz and 2GHz respectively as well. It supports LPDDR5 memory, UFS 3.1, WiFi 6 connectivity and Bluetooth 5.2. Like the 810, it can push displays with 1080p resolution at 120Hz. 108MP support and 5G with dual standby, VoNR and 2CC aggregation is present here as well. The GPU gets an upgrade as well with the Mali G68 with four shader cores.

The processors are expected in devices later this quarter, Q3 2021.
