Evan Blass of evleaks has shared information regarding upcoming devices under the Motorola Edge lineup. It consists of four devices and is expected to launch in variety of countries.
Two of the devices listed are both codenamed “berlin”. Based on the specifications of both devices, it is assume that they are the same device with one difference, the global version has a 16MP ultrawide shooter while the North American version has an 8MP. A telephoto sensor is also absent on the American version in favor of a depth camera. Also, the global version has a larger battery with 5000mAh, 1000mAh larger .Aside from that their key specifications are similar, a Snapdragon 778G, 120Hz refresh rate 1080p display, 108MP main camera, 32MP selfie shooter and runs on Android 11
Another device on the series is codenamed “Kyoto”. This device on the other hand, seems to be at a lower price than “berlin”.
It features a MediaTek Dimensity 720, a 90Hz 1080p display but still having a 108MP main camera, up to 128GB of storage and a large 5000mAh battery.
Completing the lineup is “pstar” and specs wise is the top of the line conpared to “berlin” and “Kyoto” . Having a Snapdragon 870 chip, a 120Hz refresh rate 1080p display, 4000mAh battery and a 108MP triple camera setup. “Pstar” is expected to launch at Asia, Europe, Australia, Latin America, and India.
