The Snapdragon 870 mobile platform launched as another choice for manufacturers to hone up their midrange and upper midrange devices, with it being a high frequency last year flagship silicon. Now, iQOO seems to be interested in launching one of their devices with the said silicon.

Digital Chat Station posted information about the alleged device. The handset in subject is said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 mobile.platform. In case you didn’t know, the 870 is basically a buffed up Snapdragon 865 with clock frequencies peak up to 3.2GHz. Along that is a binned Adreno 650 GPU at 905MHz for heavier mobile titles.
Another thing he noted is that the device will feature fast charging. Based on history, iQOO has launched devices with insane power ratings from 44W, 55W and even up to 120W, touching leading industry standards.
Unfortunately, no other details were disclosed by the tipster. So its launch and availability are unknown as of writing.
