It was almost 2 and a half years since the POCO F1 has been announced. It caused an uproar revitalizing the budget flagship market. Now its successor, at least by name, is rumored. Though, its specifications might not live with the POCO F1 philosophy.
The F2, as rumored, will harbor a Snapdragon 732G chipset. The choice of a Snapdragon 700 series chip for the successor of the popular flagship killer way back then might raise eyebrows from the POCO fan base.
Also, according to rumors, the company has managed to put an AMOLED display on the alleged device. The display is tipped to refresh at 120Hz as well. A welcome addition to the POCO line up. Though we have mixed thoughts about this. While great, the original POCO F1 cut corners with the display as well in order to achieve its flagship specifications.
Aside from the chip and the display, POCO might be putting a quad rear shooter on the back, NFC support and a sizeable 4250mAh battery.
What do you think of this rumored device? Comparing what the F1 was, if these are true, POCO might be skewing away and turn 180° from their original philosophy of what the F1 was.
