Motorola has unveiled their second take on the foldable smartphone niche. Dubbed as the Razr 5G, it offers key upgrades over the Razr refresh last year but priced up north at €1500 or PHP 86,000 directly converted.
Even if it has improvements, it shares a striking resemblance to its predecessor. Touting a 6.2-inch foldable OLED panel, constructed out of plastic, a resolution of 2142×876 at lengthy 21:9 aspect ratio. At the top is where the earpiece, 20MP selfie shooter and other sensors in which all of them are housed with the returning notch cutout just like as last year’s Razr 2019.
Upgrade over last year is the new 48 megapixel main shooter at the rear of the device which snuggles just south of the 2.7-inch OLED panel which can be viewed when the device is clam shut. Donning a f/1.7 aperture and OIS, also with a sidemounted LED flash.
Another notable change is the processing prowess, inside is the Snapdragon 765G over the 710 last year. It brings 5G capabilities aside from the speed boost offered by the improved CPU nd GPU. This cradles the device along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. The fingerprint scanner is now situated at the back.
Supplying it with juice is a 2,800mAh power pack which supports 15W fast charging. Single nano SIM slot is supported by the device.
It is priced at €1500 in Europe and $1399 in the U.S. No announcements were made for other markets.
