Xiaomi and Redmi has been often releasing devices, atleast in their home country, with 5G. Despite that, there is no stopping the manufacturer’s train in releasing more. Now rumors start to emerge from Chinese Social Media, Weibo, about 5 more devices with 5G capabilities.
Digital Chat Station has shared five model numbers, claiming to be that from Xiaomi. These are the “J1S”, “J1T”, “J3”, “J20”, and “J21”. These handsets, atleast according to him, will feature 5G cellular network capabilities. He also mentioned that some of them might be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus mobile platform.
While unknown, netizens from the social media are expecting that the said models will be higher end devices from Xiaomi and Redmi. Some even speculate that an upgraded version of the Mi 10, the recently launched Mi 10 Ultra, Redmi K30 Ultra, the Redmi K40 series and so on.
J3 has been identified as “Apollo” by XDA. Apollo corresponds to the Mi 10T series that has surfaced with images and specifications.
Specifications include a Snapdragon 865, 144Hz refresh rate IPS display, 5000mAh and 108MP camera.
An insider guesstimated the price to be at 2999CNY or PHP 22K directly converted.
It will be interesting how the five will enter the market in China. All we hope that the roster will see the light of day in terms of global releases and expanded availability in other markets, aside from China.
