Xiaomi Philippines announces the Redmi 9C for the Philippines. This is part of Xiaomi’s online 10th anniversary campaign, it has a Helio G35 chip and 5000mAh battery. The 9C also has three rear cameras.
The Redmi 9C is for the budget segment in the smartphone space. Priced aggressively, it still packs a punch with interesting choice of internals
MediaTek’s Helio G35 chip is running the show when it comes to processing prowess. It is a 12nm chip which runs up to 2.3GHz. This is coupled with an adequate 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage which is expandable via micro SD card.
At the front, the 6.53″ IPS LCD panel will greet the user which is a 720p at an 20:9 aspect ratio setup.
Photography-wise, a triple camera array is found on the top left of the handset’s rear. It is composed of a 13MP main camera and a duo of 2MP shooters which are responsible of portrait shots and macro close-ups. Snapping for selfies is a 5MP effort.
Stashed inside, a generous 5000mAh tank will get you through the day or two. It charges via 10W in its micro USB port below.
The key specifications and price of the device are listed below. A promotion on Shopee Philippines is gonna be live later at midnight, August 18, which will cut the price down of the 2/32GB variant to PHP 4990.
