Sony Announces WH-1000XM4 – Newest Variant Of Their Popular ANC Headphones

August 10 16:55 2020 Print This Article

A couple of days ago, Sony has just unveiled their newest version of their incredible popular WH-1000XM line of over-ear Active Noise Cancellation headphones. Now hitting the 4th generation, the new headphone has even better comfort features, lighter weight, slightly larger earcups, and the best part: automatic conversation modes that eliminate noise but lets you hear people you’re talking to – without needing to press a button or cup your ears like the last version. (Also new: multiple device Bluetooth connectivity!)

The new WH-1000XM4 will be available this August 2020 (this month!) but there’s no price announced as of yet. Leaks in other countries peg it at about US$350 (same price as last model) so expect it to be about PHP 20k here or lower if we’re lucky. Don’t quote us on that though, because you never know what you get now in these trying times. Anyway, specs and more info below, or watch the teaser video embedded above!

For more information on the Sony WH-1000XM4 (let’s call it XM4 for short), check out Sony’s page on the product here. We’re personally interested in this one and was about to buy the XM3 last month but thankfully we waited a little bit. Anyway, check it out later this month when it reaches stores!
