Visionox has announced their under display camera solution is ready for mass production. Already, there are rumors that surface with the utilization of the said panel.
According to RODENT950, the first device to have the under display camera is the Honor Magic 3 and will indeed come with Visionox’s solution. He also mentioned that the device will be unveiled at the end of the year, at Quarter 4 and will be on sale in China early next year.
As for other specifications? An AMOLED display is confirmed by Visionox themselves. The new HiSilicon Kirin 1000 chip, a 5nm chip, will be going on the Magic 3. The chip is expected to be Huawei’s next iteration on the flagship territory. An ample amount of battery and fast charging technology from Honor is also expected.
Just a refresher, the Magic 2 was an interesting device itself. It had a manual pop-up camera via a sliding mechanism in which the user can access themselves, by shifting the display down. The device had a Kirin 980 chip and boasted 40W fast charging capabilities.
