As July approaches, more and more information about ASUS’ next gaming-centric smartphone surfaces on the internet. This recent information is in regard to the exposure of a render and a hands-on of the device itself.
Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station, has shared two photos of the device. One of which is a promotional material for the ROG Phone III. And the other is the device itself.
The photo he shared reveals the much more elongated camera module. This is to suffice the needed space for the additional lens as it is one more than the ROG Phone II. The finish of the rear seems to be glass and is more uniform and smooth with all the gamer-esque designs and prints is shown to be underneath the glass.
Upon his update, he stated the specifications of the device. This include a Snapdragon 865 Plus, which turns out to be an overclocked Snapdragon 865 up to 3.09GHz. It also comes with a Full HD AMOLED display that refreshes at 144Hz. The memory configuration can spike up to 16GB in RAM and 512GB in storage.
Powering the device is a 6,000mAh battery which charges at a rate of 30W. The cameras will be three at the rear, which is lead by a 64MP sensor which the manufacturer is not stated.
Unfortunately, there is no exact launch date of the said device as of yet.
