Just with the recent releases of the iQOO Z1 and iQOO Neo 3, iQOO is rumored to drop another roster of devices, as trademark hints. The recently released devices offer high price to performance ratio. With flagship mobile platforms from Qualcomm and MediaTek, the said devices disrupts competitors such as Xiaomi,Redmi and Honor at the Chinese market.
It seems that there is no stopping from that, the U series from iQOO has been rumored heavily on Weibo. A tipster indicated that the iQOO U1, supposedly iQOO’s first device on the series, will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1000L chip. The chip already appeared on the OPPO Reno3 Chinese version.
As of testing the device on different reviewers and blogs, the Dimensity 1000L offers similar performance to the MediaTek Dimensity 820 found on the Redmi 10X 5G series, and near to the Snapdragon 855, Qualcomm’s flagship SoC from 2019.
It is unknown when will the series will debut, but it is safe to assume that the devices offered on that series will be lower than the iQOO Z1, which had the Dimensity 1000+ at 2198CNY.
