Motorola has unveiled two new devices aimed at the higher tier of the market. These are the Motorola Edge and Edge+. These were supposed to launch at MWC 2020, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event got cancelled. Nevertheless, both of the devices feature an Endless Edge display which are curved AMOLED panels that refreshes at 90Hz.

Starting with the Plus variant, the display panel accumulates 6.7 inches diagonally on the front of the device. The display technology, called by Motorola “Endless Edge”. Specifics about the display is a Full HD AMOLED play which refreshes at 90Hz. The display also supports HDR 10+ which enhances media consumption. 

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 865 is present to offer flagship performance in tow with the device. This is coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, which are LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 spec respectively.

Photography efforts include a 108MP main shooter, a 16MP for ultrawide cameras and 8MP for telephoto. The selfie shooter resides on a punch-hole cutout on the display which is rated at 25MP. 

Miscellaneous features include a 3.5mm analog port, splash resistant coating and stereo speakers. 

A 5000mAh is popped in the device for usage, this supports fast charging with wireless charging. 

As for the standard variant, the device shares some key features from the Plus version. Similarities includes the display, its charging technology sans the wireless charging capabilities, and its design language. 

Instead of the Snapdragon 865, the Snapdragon 765G is in place for the midrange handset. This is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The 108MP is replaced with a 64MP shooter for its leading camera. The device is powered by a 4500mAh battery.

The devices will retail for US$999 and US$599 for the Plus and standard version respectively. These are PHP 50.8K and PHP 30.4K directly converted. No word for its availability on local shores though.

Colorways include Smoky Sangria and Thunder Grey for the Plus version and Midnight Magenta and Solar Black for the standard version.
