Honor Play 4T Series Details And Specifications

Honor is poised to launch the Honor Play 4T series. The series is composed of two devices, the Honor Play 4T and it has the trendy “Pro” version for each device released, the Honor Play 4T Pro. Both were previously located on TENAA and some Chinese retailers, revealing specifications and device renders. Ishan Agarwal, has provided more details about the two devices at hand.

The standard 4T device will have a 6.4-inch IPS display. The display is at HD resolution, and will have a punch-hole cutout housing the selfie camera. Located at the rear are a pair of shooters, which are 48MP and 2MP. The selfie camera residing on the punch-hole cutout has an 8MP sensor. At the heart of the device will be a HiSilicon Kirin 710, a midrange chip from 2018. Memory configuration is 6GB for RAM capacity and 128GB storage which is expandable via a MicroSD card up to 512GB. A fingerprint scanner is located at the rear and is assumed to be a always on capacitive setup.

The Pro version will be a step up from the standard version. Instead of a 720p LCD panel, it will feature an OLED panel at 1080p. The fingerprint scanner is underneath the display, assuming to be an optical sensor.  The chip under the hood is replaced with a HiSilicon Kirin 810 processor. The selfie camera is on a waterdrop notch, which is a 16MP snapper. The rear introduces the user to a three rear system. A 48MP, an 8MP and a 2MP shooter. 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is its memory configuration. 

Both devices will boot Magic UI 3.1 on Android 10. Honor will unveil them at China later tonight.


Update, The devices have been already unveiled in China.

CNY1199 or PHP 8.6K for the Honor Play 4T and CNY1499 or PHP 10.8K for the Pro version. These are budget devices with decent specifications. Although local availability is yet to be announced.
