On their official Weibo account, Vivo has cheekily teased their upcoming device under the iQOO sub-brand.

The snapshot reveals that the iQOO Neo 3 will have the top of the line Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. This also means that the device will feature 5G capabilities natively. Although, not much has disclosed if it will support a high-band 5G like mmWave or would it only support mid and lowband 5G.

Apparently, other details include that the device will also feature a high refresh rate display. It may feature a 90Hz or a 120Hz panel. No word about if it would be an AMOLED or an IPS panel. Usually, iQOO devices are equipped with OLED displays.

No further information such as the camera setup, any amenities and features, nor the exact launch date has been disclosed.

Vivo has recently released the iQOO 3 in the lineup. The iQOO 3 has a Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. A triple camera setup is also chucked in the device. The device has a 60Hz refresh rate. The camera system’s main sensor is a 48MP Sony IMX 582.  So it would be definite step up from the iQOO 3 if the iQOO Neo 3 has a high refresh rate display. Also it is safe to speculate that iQOO is readying an upgrade, if not on par, with the iQOO 3.
