A Xiaomi device with 100X digital zoom is on the works.

Another rumor from Weibo claims that Xiaomi is working on a device with 100X digital zoom. 
It is safe to assume that the technology used in the device can be a periscope lens. A camera system setup by Huawei, Samsung and even other manufacturers. 

We are already familiar of such a feature. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has already hit the market with its “100X Space Zoom” that can be capable of 100X digital zoom. Recently, Huawei also unveiled their latest periscope lens that is also capable of 100X digital zoom.

No other details surface from this rumor. Although, we can speculate that this device might be the upcoming Mi 10S from Xiaomi. The same Weibo account also claimed that the Mi 10S will be a refresh of the Mi 10 and will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display. 100X Zoom will be an amazing addition, if were true, to this device. 40W wireless charging, showcased by Xiaomi earlier, is also on the package. A huge battery, to continue the trend of 5G and high refresh rate displays, is also assumed.

Other expected specifications include the unannounced mobile platform from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 865 Plus, which is also in the rumor mill. An ample amount of RAM and copious amount of storage. The main camera — the 108MP Samsung HMX sensor– can be expected to be improved upon. 

The Mi 10s is expected to arrive in the latter half of the year in China.
