Ishan Agarwal has tipped of what seems to be an Honor Play 9A. He claims that the device will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, a 5000mAh battery and 6.3″ display. The Honor Play 9A also has a dual rear camera setup. This is similar to the Huawei Enjoy 10e released not too long ago.
As for the specifications for reference, the Huawei Enjoy 10e has a MediaTek Helio P35 processor. The device is equipped with a 6.3″ HD+ IPS display, the display contains a notch at the center top which resides a selfie camera. The Enjoy 10e has a 5000mAh cell and has support up to 10W charging. As for the cameras, it might be a similar affair with two rear shooters. A 13MP and a 2MP combo, the selfie camera is an 8MP snapper.
The only visible functionality and physical difference of between the two is the Honor variant has a fingerprint scanner on the rear. This adds a layer of biometric security of the device.
The Huawei Enjoy 10e retails in China for 999CNY or PHP 7.2K directly converted. It is safe to assume that the price of the Honor Play 9A will be at most at that price for the base variant.
