Samsung Philippines has finally launched their anticipated new 2020-design midrange smartphone the Galaxy A71. Announced in January with the Galaxy A51, the A71 is an upgrade to last year’s A70 and A70s, with a new modern design, punch hole display, better cameras, newer processor, newer display, and finally running out of box on Android 10 One UI 2.0.
Those are pretty decent changes over it’s predecessor, but aside from the newer processor and updated design it’s still very similar to previous A70 series phones. Thankfully the price has not been increased so you’ll get more bang for the same amount of bucks.

Now I know what you might be thinking: where is the Galaxy A51, which was announced alongside the A71 internationally? Well, we don’t know. Our best assumption is that Samsung is launching the A71 first in the Philippines and the A51 will follow. But we’re not 100% sure.
So you can get the Samsung Galaxy A71 on Feb 15, 2020 for the aforementioned price of PHP 22,990. And there is a pre-order open right now from February 5 to 14 through participating offline and online stores. Pre-orders will receive a JBL Clip 3 Bluetooth Speaker worth PHP 3,499 or store voucher worth PHP 2,000. Both versions also come with YouTube Premium and YouTube Music subscription for 2 months.
Anyway check out the phone when it becomes available or read up more on the pre-order mechanics and freebies here on Samsung’s pre-order site!
Along with the Galaxy A71, Samsung Philippines also launched the Galaxy Note 10 Lite which will be available on Feb 14. For more info on that phone, click here for our 2nd article about this launch event.
