Looking for a new TV series to binge on? Love the inter-personal conflicts brought on by K-Drama but want to see some crazy bloody action and suspense as well? And you want it to be all shot in an impressive 4K HDR package that makes every episode looks like a big budget Hollywood movie? Then you should definitely check out “Kingdom” from Netflix.

Back in late January, we were invited to check out a preview for this new K-Drama series from Netflix, and we were greeted with just that: a whole lot of political drama, secrets, action, and mystery surrounding a plague (yeah, its zombies!) spreading through the Korean countryside.

Set in the Joseon period, “Kingdom” offers some amazing 4K HDR visuals to delight even the most cynical of viewers – bringing you into the world of ancient Korea with lots of visual detail. Basing from what we saw of the preview, expect a lot of intricately designed sets like castles, small villages, the Korean countryside, and of course the costumes made for this series are equally as impressive. If you’re ever looking for something to watch on your brand new 4K HDR TV, this is a great series to check out.

Which brings us to LG – which in partnership with Netflix has brought us “Kingdom” – and coincidentally has just the right TV to watch it on. The LG B8 OLED TV is basically the best priced OLED TV in the market right now. At only PHP 89,991 you’re getting a Cinema 4K HDR panel, Dolby Atmos speakers, and of course the awesome contrast ratio and pitch blacks of OLED. Check it out at an LG retailer near you.

As for “Kingdom,” be sure to check it out the next time you’re browsing Netflix!
