Starmobile’s Up Sense Is An Affordable Quad-Core Phone With Fingerprint Scanner

Starmobile brings its own flavor to the fingerprint sensing game with its newly announced Starmobile Up Sense. The first of its kind for the local brand, its packing some modest specs (Quad-Core, HD display, 1GB RAM, 8MP Camera) in what looks to be a classic design with an iPhone-esque Home button as the¬†fingerprint sensor. The question here is: does the sensor push in and double as the Android Home key as well? We won’t know until we hear more. However, you can check out more of its specs and pictures below!

The Starmobile Up Sense will be available starting next week (September 19, we assume) for the aforementioned price of PHP 4,290. Pretty decent specs for the price, considering the fingerprint sensor, extra freebies, and the typically better build quality from the local brand. Check them out when you have the chance!
