PS4 Exclusive The Last Guardian Will Finally Be Out This October, Pre-Orders Available Now

Back in the PS2 era there were two instant action adventure classics that those in our generations hold in high regard – Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. They feature stylized art, fantastic creatures, huge vistas, and interesting characters. There was a third game, called “The Last Guardian” to be released for PS3, but was never heard from again until it resurfaced in 2015 recreated for the PS4. And finally in 2016, we have an October release date. The game no doubt looks and feels similar to the previous titles, but now it revolves around a young boy and a supernatural creature that looks half bird, half dog. (Trust us, it works.) Given the previous excellent games by Team Ico (now mostly genDESIGN), we’re sure its going to be good. Pre-orders for The Last Guardian is open now in most local stores, and you’ll be getting a limited edition t-shirt when you get the game on October 25, 2016. A Steelbook Edition of the game is also available which has the game on a more durable steel case, and finally there is the Collector’s Edition which will include the steel case, a statue, art book, soundtrack, sticker sheet, and a collector’s box. Enough to make any “The Last Guardian” fan satisfied.
