Hooray! Uber Will Soon Offer A Cash Payment Option

Uber, our favorite personalized transport service, is about to go mainstream with a move to allow for cash payments. Previously, the company only allowed credit card holders to use the app, but an Uber driver blog has just revealed that cash will now be allowed. This should open up their customer base and further threaten it’s competitors like GrabTaxi and traditional taxis.

Uber themselves haven’t made any announcements yet, but the Cash Training Video above is from their account – which pretty much means the info is legit. Also, Uber has enabled cash payment options in other countries like India before.
