Cherry Mobile Titan Pro Launch Preview–Quad-Core With Gesture Pen For PHP 10,999

Back at the Cherry Mobile #WeAreOnFire event held yesterday, we were sure they were going to launch a new digitizer-based Gesture Pen phone with an HD screen. That’s because the local brand has teased it quite a bit on their Facebook fan page and we’ve discussed it on our end two weeks ago on the Big Time Show[1]. So that new phone is called the Cherry Mobile Titan Pro – the first local brand phone with an accurate digitizer pen. The “G Pen” allows for sketching, doodling, writing, and general note taking as well as navigating the phone – adding a lot more productivity to a normal smartphone kit. Rounding out the specs include a 1.2Ghz Quad-Core Processor, 12MP BSI Camera, 1GB RAM, and an HD 720p Dragon Trail display. Perfect for artists, students, and even professionals, you can check out the Titan Pro’s specs and video preview below!

The Cherry Mobile Titan Pro is now available in selected stores (SM North EDSA gets it today) for PHP 10,999. Given the price compared to other devices with the same specs, you can tell that the more accurate digitizer pen is what you’ll mostly be paying for. However, we definitely understand the importance of having that sketching and note-taking pen for a lot of people. And if you’re one of them, then you have a pretty good phone in the Titan Pro. Go ahead and check it out!

The Cherry Mobile Titan Pro’s OEM device is the Ginwave GNote 3[2].

Note: Cherry Mobile also launched their first Octa-Core phone at the event called the Cherry Mobile Cosmos Z2. You can check out our launch preview article about it here[3].
