Rafael Oca[2]’s dream has finally come true: a local brand Quad-Core device is now available (according to this Facebook post by Cherry Mobile SM North EDSA[3]) with NFC and its called the Cherry Mobile Rave 2.0. While we wouldn’t say we’re big fans of the technology, it does have its uses – and in this case, you can easily pair it with the NFC-enabled speaker that comes free with the package. (Though it also might be making the package a little more expensive at PHP 8,999.) For the price, you’re getting mid-to-high end specs with a Quad-Core 1.2Ghz processor, a phablet-sized 5.3” IPS 960×540 screen, 1GB of RAM and 12+2MP cameras. If you’re interested in having a phone with this fancy technology, then read up on all of its specs after the jump!

And if you don’t know why this phone is Rafael Oca’s dream come true, watch a short summary video of why that is below.
If you’re like Raf and you want to get your NFC on, check out the Rave 2.0 at SM North EDSA’s Cherry Mobile Store or possibly your nearest other retailers nationwide.
