We’ve all heard of Ragnarok Online 2. It’s obviously the sequel to the MMO of the 2000’s smash hit Ragnarok Online – this time with a revamped 3D engine and graphics. To be honest, we wished it was released earlier when people were still looking for their next 3D MMO. Still, RO2 came out for most international servers sometime this year. Though at first, the Philippines was blocked by most of them. We guessed it was because someone had an intent of launching a local service, but that hasn’t happened yet. Recently though, a F2P gaming company called Aeria Games included RO2 in their game list and surprisingly, they weren’t blocking the Philippines. So basically, Filipino gamers can now play the game for free (and sort-of officially) via their servers. When we found out about it, we immediately clicked on the installer and decided to do a quick look for you guys so you can see if its worth the download. Anyway, check out our quick look video after the jump!
That’s it for our quick look of Ragnarok Online 2. It definitely still has the same graphical style and the monsters remind us of the original, though the quest systems definitely remind us more of newer RPGs. Either way, if you’re interested in playing the game, go to this link to sign up and install!
Disclaimer: We’re not sure if Aeria Games will block the Philippines at some point, so please don’t blame us if our country is denied access to their servers later on.
