The Cherry Mobile Candy TV is one of the first few, if not the first, Android phones with TV functionalities built in. Of course, shortly afterwards there came new competitors in the market and these days we do have phones from other local brands. However, the Candy TV does stand alone when it comes to the price point and its features. For a price in the line of PHP 3k+, the phone packs a 1Ghz Single-Core processor and a 3.5” 320×480 display. Rounding out the specs also include cameras front and back and supplemented by an LED Flash. The only possible downside to this one – opposite the very similar TV-less Cherry Mobile W100 – is that it lacks 3G. (Both phones are running Android 2.3 Gingerbread though.) However, we doubt its users will really notice that omission, as they would probably be too busy watching their favorite shows on free TV. That said though, hop on over the jump to check out our Cherry Mobile Candy TV unboxing! (Specs are below too!)

And that’s about it for the Cherry Mobile Candy TV. Check them out at your favorite retailers nationwide! (And if you’d rather take a look at the W100, check out our unboxing of that phone here.)
