Cherry Nova, Magnum HD, Stuffed Toy, and Superion
Android phones are getting popular these days, and they’re getting cheaper too. To combat the price drops and the newly arriving phones for this season, Cherry Mobile is slashing the prices of its Android devices – the Nova, Magnum HD smartphones and the Superion Tablet. (Source)
According to Technoodling, the 4.1” 1Ghz Android 2.2-running Magnum HD will now retail for PHP 15,999, down from its price of PHP 18,999. While the 7” 600Mhz Android 2.2 Superion Tablet will be selling for PHP 16,999 from its original PHP 19,900. Both devices have basically lowered a significant PHP 3,000 for extra savings.
The 3.2” 600Mhz Android 2.1 Cherry Nova has also dropped in price from PHP 11,499 to a very reasonable PHP 7,999. A savings of PHP 3,500.
However, we were at the SM Marikina branch of Cherry Mobile yesterday and the prices still haven’t changed for the Magnum and the Superion, as you can see here:
Looks like the prices seem like they haven’t been in effect yet. We can’t confirm if Technoodling’s source is correct but we think its safe to assume the price drop will be coming. What’s more important to notice though, is that Cherry have somehow introduced two new Android phones without us even noticing it. We’ll give those two a better look in our next article. You probably will never want to miss this one.
