Google Nexus S
According to YugaTech’s sources, the flagship Android phone for Google is headed to the Philippines through official Samsung channels. This is great news for people who’d rather not have Samsung’s laggier TouchWiz and even laggier software update schedules, but would absolutely die for a Super AMOLED device.
Announced late last year, the Google Nexus S is the newest Android phone delivered by Google and was the first phone to have the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update. With a special 4” Super AMOLED contoured screen at 800×480, 1ghz processor and Near Field Communications (NFC) chip, this is one of the best ways to get a pure Android experience with no third-party customizations – which guarantees faster updates through Google.
YugaTech’s source says that the Nexus S will be available this quarter – which ends this month of March. The retail price will be a reasonable PHP 28,500 – which is comparable to competing devices around this time.
So, will you be getting Google’s Flagship? That Super AMOLED screen is indeed very tempting!
