Canon EOS 1100D and 600D

Canon has updated their entry- and mid-range DSLR lineup recently with the EOS 1100D and the EOS 600D. The 1100D will be replacing the 1000D before it and will feature a new 12MP sensor over the 10MP from the previous model and a movie mode at 720p HD. The 600D will supersede the popular 550D and will have the same 18MP Sensor but with a  VariAngle LCD at the back.

The 1100 will have a 2.7” screen at 0.2” larger than the 1000D and will feature a new feature a 720p video mode not present in its predecessor. The 600D gets subtler upgrades over the 550D but are great additions nonetheless. It will have the aforementioned VariAngle LCD which comes from the higher 60D model, and will now support wireless flashes for creative lighting methods. Rounding that out is another 60D feature which is the manual audio level capture setting. Both cameras will have a new “Feature Guide” which teaches the basics of DSLR camera use for beginners and intermediate users alike.
