Nokia Launching X2-01 With 1-Day 1K Discount

Fancy another mobile phone price slash? Well Nokia is introducing the X2-01 with a PHP 1,000 discount for only one day – January 29, 2011. (source and image: YugaTech[1])

 

This event is similar to the Nokia C3 event last year, and there’s similarities between the C3 and the X2-01 themselves. They’re candy-bar budget QWERTY smartphones without 3G, but the C3 has WiFi b/g and the X2-01 doesn’t. Design wise, the x2-01 looks a little bit more like the old E61i in XpressMusic style colors, which look more appealing to me than the longer narrower C3.

 

The X2-01 will be discounted to PHP 3,950 when it launches on January 29, 2011. The event only lasts for one day so if you’re keen, get it then. The list of retailers are listed at YugaTech’s site here[2].
