Here’s a taste of our interesting government atmosphere:

  1. Joseph Estrada said that if he became President, he would have the Philippines universally air-conditioned.
  2. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo said a bunch of things, including “I will not run for Presidency in the next elections,” which she still did. She also said certain funny things like “Hello Garci,” and the equally entertaining follow-up “I’m sorry.”
  3. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, and she only gets a mention for being so radical and sarcastic, said “I lied.”
  4. And to be current, Kris Aquino said “I promised Noy that if he wins I will leave the country and work abroad.”

Well, my dear friends, I ask you this: “Who the hell would ever think to hire Kris Aquino outside the Philippines for a job? She can’t even speak English properly!”

… OH, SNAP.
