World War 2. Potato mashers, MP40, Thompson, M1 Garand, Sten, MG42, Panzershrek, and a whole lot of Nazi’s.
I just played through Call of Duty 3 – in Pampanga. Its interesting how Treyarch made a different-ish game than what Infinity Ward has been doing, but its turned out well enough. You’re still running around with an infinite amount of allies and nazi’s, and you only basically win if you run to the next area without dying, bringing your allies along to do most of the dirty work. Its funny how you play all CoD’s basically the same, running from cover to cover to make your allies move up – you spend a generous amount of time facing the wall or dirt. Obviously, in lower difficulties you can just run up and smack Nazi’s upside the head, but we all knew that.
